IFA's Support to Beauty & Wellness Show

Domestic and international governmental institutions and non-governmental organizations maintain supporting CNR Beauty & Wellness Show Istanbul, the only cosmetics, beauty, and health exhibition of Turkey to be organized this year. IFA (International Federation of Aromatherapists) has its support to the exhibition following the greatest power of SMEs, KOSGEB (Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization of Turkey).

Established in 1985, IFA (International Federation of Aromatherapists) regulates and accredits standards in aromatherapy for both practitioners and qualification providers. Keeping the highest standard of training, IFA has pioneered aromatherapy in the NHS (national health services), hospices, and care professions. IFA, having worked with various government health committees to improve the practice of aromatherapy across the world, is actively involved with elevating academic standards and influencing policy in the CAM (Complementary and Alternative Medicine) field.

Aromatherapy is divided into three categories as aesthetic aromatherapy used for beauty and care purposes; clinical aromatherapy targeting a clinical sign; and holistic aromatherapy treating a person as a whole with its physical, mental, and spiritual aspects. The use of aromatherapy in beauty dates back to the Ancient Greek civilization.
